February 20th : "Rubys Hafla: Celebrating Classical Egyptian and Contemporary Belly Dance " A charity concert to support the Heart Foundation

Saturday February 20th is Rubys Hafla: Celebrating Classical Egyptian and Contemporary Belly Dance. Featuring Ten soloists/duets dancing to a track each from Hossam Ramzy's latest CD, Ruby. Supported by bellydance troupes dancing a variety of contemporary bellydance styles. Plus live Middle-Eastern drumming! !

March 4th to 8th : "the 2010 Gothla US: Dances of the Underworld "

March 4th to 8th is The 2010 Gothla US festival: Celebrating Dark fusion and gothic belly dance. Featuring guest artists Tempest, Asharah, Sashi, Anaar, Madame Raine, Kajira Djoumahna, myself, Maisah and many more fab dark dancers set to weave a spell for you.
2010 is set to be the year of the Dark Fusion Dancer!

Maisah will be performing and teaching an Elysium Sword Dance workshop, as the International Guest Artist for Gothla US 2010

June 4th to 7th : "the 2010 WAMED Festival: Celebrating Dance and Community "

June 4th to 7th is The WAMED festival: Celebrating Celebrating Dance and Community. Featuring guest artists Morocco from the USA, The beautiful Nour and her singer husband Yasser Al Swery from Egypt, Melusina from VIC and Rose from WA, and myself, Maisah at my third WAMED, 2010 looks to be an amazing event! I'm very excited to be a part of WAMED again, and yes there is indeed an all new PSEUDOSKIRT project as well,and the theme for 2010 is SteamPunk Pirates!

Maisah will be performing and teaching Elysium workshops, as well as leading another exciting PseudoSkirt project

July 9th to 11th : "the Descend To Ascend Tour with Sashi for Ascend Tribal Dance USA kicks off in Melbourne VIC"

July 9th to 11th Sashi from Ascend Tribal: will be on TOUR in Australia and New Zealand. Limited dates and locations, this is a first not to be missed! Sashi is visiting Melbourne VIC, Canberra ACT and Newcastle NSW before flying out to New Zealand.

In Melbourne, we are currently creating an awesome event, with Sashi intensive workshops, mini-market, PseudoSkirt and performance night for you, all will be revealed in the coming weeks.

SAVE THE DATE! In Melbourne/VIC Sashi brings her dark loveliness to AU starting the 9th to the 11th of JULY, tickets will go on sale in March 2010

July 16th to 18th Sashi from Ascend Tribal: will be on TOUR in Australia and New Zealand. Limited dates and locations, this is a first not to be missed! Sashi is teaching workshops and performing at "The Awakening" in Canberra ACT and then offering workshops in her Ascend Tribal Format. The Awakening is dark dance fusion concert event featuring Sashi, Aradia, FiFi Noir and a selection of deightful dark dancers to entrain you

July 23rd to 25th : "the Descend To Ascend Tour with Sashi for Ascend Tribal Dance USA meets Evernight 2 in Newcastle NSW"

July 23rd to 25th Sashi from Ascend Tribal: will be on TOUR in Australia and New Zealand. Limited dates and locations, this is a first not to be missed! Sashi is teaching workshops and performing at Evernight 2 Newcastle NSW as her last Australian stop before flying out to New Zealand. Evernights is an annual Gothla and dark dance theatre event featuring Sashi, Keoko DarkStar, Saahirah Rayvn and Ma'isah, Ghawazi Caravan, UMBRA and Drumming group Arabiana.

September 10th to 12th the Tribal and Trance Festival in Sydney : is on again. A much-anticipated event, and this year I am proud to not only be a guest performance artist but to be bringing PseudoSkirt 2010 the Pirate Project to NSW!
